Swiss Families Coat of Arms Collection

The swiss Families collection includes coat of arms images for 880 Swiss Families. The shield images are available as a bulk download archive in either WMF and CDR vector image file formats.

The files are also available through the members area in additional vector image formats. The additional formats include Adobe Illustrator (AI), PDF, and Encapsulated Postscript (EPS) vector file formats plus JPEG and PNG bitmap formats. The PNG files include transparent backgrounds.

The Swiss Confederation has a long history of armed neutrality - it has not been in a state of war internationally since 1815. The Swiss Family shields are influenced by Germany, France and Italy and are referenced from the Rietstap's Armorial Collection.
